After downloading a Theme successfully, you cannot locate it in your themes list to activate it.
Resolution
There are a few reasons as to why your theme may not be in the available Theme list, the most common being:
- Default Dimension themes are not installed. The base theme for a particular style needs to be on the device in order for the theme to work. For instance, a Today theme needs Dimension Today, a Zen theme needs Dimension Zen. There should be all 3 (icon, zen, today) in the list of available themes as most third party themes will use some aspects of each.

- Some devices will require a hard reset. This can be accomplished by removing the battery for at least 15 seconds. If the battery is not pulled, or not pulled for long enough, the theme may not appear in the list.
- Plazmic Theme Reader not installed. This is ONLY applicable to users running BlackBerry OS v4.1.0 (models 71xx and 87xx). Installing it on a newer device could cause all themes to stop working, as a newer version is built into the firmware.
- There is not
enough
free memory on your device. At least 1.5MB (1 500 000 bytes) is recommended. You will need to free up memory (e.g., by deleting non-essential applications, or themes you don't use anymore). You can
try resetting your device to clear every last bit of memory before downloading if
necessary. Free memory is indicated in Options -> Status, as shown below.

- You may need to contact your service provider to update your device to the latest Operating Software (OS).
